SUBMIX TRACKS

Greetings everyone !

How can I create submix tracks for my drums f.e. in my MPC Software ?
Is there anyone that can help me out with the exact procedure ?

You can't create them. You have to assign your pad outputs to them in the program mixer.

A few people on here have 1.7 because they are beta testers. They have been pretty tight lipped on what they can talk about though. Sometimes they let a crumb out if an official spokesman spills the beans first.

No, you can still use it if you choose. You're just no longer FORCED to use it!

So how can I control my snare from 2 different tracks without the one cancels the other ? I assign my drum pads to submix 1 output for example, but how can I add effects on them as a unit and still retain their effects seperately ?

When they are output to the submixer, you cannot put effects on both of them at once because the submixer has no inserts. When using the submixer you will only be allowed to put effects on the individual pads only. If you want both pads to go to the same effect, then you have to route them to the track mixer and sequence both pads on the same track. However, when using the track mixer, you cannot use effects on the individual pads.

In 1.7, you now have program channels. So you can put individual effects on two different pads, then send both pads to the same program channel and put effects on both pads as a "unit" as you mention.
