(16 Levels Decay) for Snares, Kicks, Hi-hats

When I’m going for a realistic drummer vibe. I use the 16 Levels Decay or Attack features.

The 16 Level Decay gives me the freedom to get a more natural feel to the drum groove over just using 16 Levels velocity. 16 Level Velocity is cool if I'm going for the same sound to only change in volume.

Using the 16 Levels Decay with full level turned off allows me to tweak the sound dynamics to my liking. I can get the velocity changes along with the decay giving you a more realistic vibe on the drums.
*Works great with ghost notes too.

16 Levels Attack technique can be applied in a similar method for those who prefer to tweak the attack levels.

Midi is getting tighter each update. it is the core of studio, have multiple modules so all ports used. Send midi clock to TR8 and other bits of kit. So far found the midi clock tight. Any midi signals sent to other kit that is connected via USB seems to crash software so just send to stuff hardwired from the Ren.

Enjoy flexibility of being able to access files. Although still enjoy a bit of CF usage on my 2000xl

Also The multi and all global pad edit.. It's half way implemented .. Meaning from the hardware you can multi select pads to edit via shift, but then you can't choose from the hardware wether you want to turn it to just selected pad or all pads.. I rely on this very much.. when working with chops...
