Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

first timer here so excuse me if this has already been answered although i did search before posting

i tried what this thread suggests viewtopic.php?t=39736&start=0 but to no luck.is there any way that this can be done ?

Already tried that but the frequencies wouldnt cancel each other out sort of had a phasing effect or something...Could it be the software i used ?(Audacity)

both samples need to start at the same time (sample accurate) to get a 100% cancellation.
Why all that hassle when you can use some real nice hi-end sounding filters in the computer before you sample it to the MPC? Try BootEQ mkII or SlickEQ (both from here: http://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/downloads/ )
or download the reaplug bundle from Cockos

If you have the EB16 in the MPC you can set all filterbands except the Hi to -inf and set the hi filterband to 500Hz. Bam: HiPass filtering inside the MPC
