Hi, just yesterday I started tracking my beats out into reaper. I'm really happy with the results, it all went absolutely fine and very straightforward but something bizarre is happening an my curious side wonders why.
So I'm going out of the stereo outs of the mpc, the record monitor levels in reaper look perfect an more importantly the levels sound perfect, nice an loud but no clipping. I track each track out one by one by simply soloing each track of my seq and then repeating onto a new track. I purposefully set the mpc metronome to count in record and play and then I can line all the tracks up extra precisely by lining the ticks up. So this is going to sound like a lot of effort to find out why this is happening but the 4 tick count in sounds distorted but the best itself sounds perfect.
How could that possibly happen?
Cheers
