I don't know if it's already been discussed here then I begin a new thread.

I like using the filters to shape the sound instead of using eqs and plugins.. So more filters per pad or even per layer would be great... (like at least 2 per pad)

I'm totally with him on these two things ! I could add, Abilitie to use the MPC Element plugin in controller mode to control the Mpc Renaissance plugin in a DAW. Both must co-exist in a DAW. Or Akai must just develop a plugin, only for the controller mode.

To finish, MPC Renaissance plugins should then have more virtual outputs (64 stereo/128 Mono activable outs ) and to be multitimbral like kontakt. ( Midi Chan A1 -> mpc track 001, Midi chan A2 -> mpc track 002 .... Midi chan D16 -> mpc track 064. ) And VoilĂ  ... Flexibility.

With these two simple thing... MPC software will be a monster plugin in a DAW.

More virtual outs has been confirmed in 1.7. I would love to see 64 stereo as well. Though confirmed to get double the current number, so only 16 total. Still not enough IMO, but better!

Multi-timbral, not sure about that one, but agree it will be awesome to have.

Since day one my desired use of the software was as a plugin in Logic. Unfortunately the way it is today doesn't allow it to be effectively used. But I get it, they have to get the standalone stuff working, because that's probably how most people use it. For now I'm just sticking with my 5000 and 2500 for stand alone. Don't really like the software for stand alone.

I just wrote in another thread - would love to see them set focus like Kontakt, Spectrasonics... focus on this thing being a beast of an instrument. Too much DAW-like focus and it won't reach its potential IMO.
