They're battling because of so called biased opinions that one battler has pulled the other up on, and basically calling everyone A-Hole lickers for voting for someone, even though the battle was drawn at 3 each for first.

also when someone runs their mouth, they start feeling that everyone is against them, and say there is no point making a beat because we will vote for our best chum anyway, seen this 3 times in the last year over at Stonesthrow.

Sorry dude I do care about biased opinions as it can sway people quite easily, and influence people especially when they don't know the "Why has it happened"
so I can understand the "who gives a $@&!" but this has weeks behind it, of others being really tolerant. Now it's like a big spot, it's ready to pop, but we need to keep it civil.
Peace Holmes!

I find it rude, others do too, I have to put up with seeing it as do others, as Debauch has said, it should be about the music and the beats, you need to learn this, as you keep missing the point.

And your not smart enough to turn every statement or manipulate what is being said so you don't have to take responsibility for what you are saying, snarky is rude, it's a low form of sarcasm done badly.

To be honest I think win this battle you stay, lose then your out the door, but then why should the other battler have to deal with such a stipulation, because of you.

I don't mind this being deleted by the way, but it needs to be read.

In my objective opinion
That statement sounds slightly pretentious & arrogant.

Just to add a bit of balance.
And I assure you I say this without any form of animosity, merely my observations.

I've also noticed quite a lot of people making digs to ThobRom, which I think is not in the spirit of it all.
And when a few people chirp in, it just looks cliquey and a bit sad.

I recently garbled out abuse at a dude on here for no apparent reason, so I'm no saint anyway.
But it doe's look like you're just picking on this cat cus of his Vanilla Ice Avatar.

here is a little light.

Its a late tuesday evening downtown. There are around 8 producers showcasing tracks for the battle tonight. this battle has been going strong for some months now. Just like in every battle, or music performance , well just about anything in life. There are people in the crowd or around the situation that don't like or agree with how it is, or how it goes down. That is fine, and normal. In one of the groups hanging around after the show. there is some guy in there bad mouthing on a couple of the producers and their music.

All normal right? we all know and expect not to be liked by everyone... and said dude has all the right to spit his opinion. But general human interaction, in public would be that of caution. you don't walk around gossiping loudly about the fat guy in front of you eating a double cheese burger. he might be a self induced diabetic P.O.S. but do you tell your friend loud enough for him to hear it? NO unless your some ignorantly bold kid looking for confrontation. Usually a confrontation you couldn't handle as a kid cause you are a kid.

ok, so one of these weeks. Its like 8-9 heads up battling their tracks. Its all respect in the vibe with all contestants and crowd. Except the jay cat with the negative "Snarks".Yet this time he is saying out loud purposely. Why? well normally you would think this guy doesn't like something. ok but if you look at how its being expressed...

just yelling out loud, like he is looking for attention threw confrontation.

Its ignored for a few weeks because, "who the hell is this guy, with no beats talking smack!" Ah :fku: him probably just a "hater". so after a few weeks of this behavior I realize the "snarky comments are directed at me. enough metaphor.

the fact is this is not a loud club downtown. this is a mellow forum with like minded music makers showcasing their work for other to judge in a competition. Most of us comment on tracks at some point not always and not always compliments. but its handled respectively. Tom Thumb has been hanging around in our forum running is Snarky remarks for some time. So iI told him to step up or step out. He ignored my challenge for a few weeks. each week waiting till after a battle was over to reelect it in the thread list with some bullshit remarks.

I have been running these battles for months. Its kinda of a chore sometime. But I like making sure we have a place to do this, like this. Coming in here and claiming i get my votes cause the other guys are on my nuts is a crazy crazy claim. considering most of the guys don't really say anything to me other then nice beat. and a few appreciation's for keeping it going. If any of the same guys in battle follow each other on soundcloud usually only means they kinda like dudes music and want to hear what else he puts out.

This is really about acting right and being respectful to fellow heads. I could just roll threw and delete every post he ever puts up. he would eventually just disappear. But i believe in right to speak even if its shit! So really what will happen is we will finally get to hear this guys music. Everybody here has herd my sound, but not one has herd his. He will be judged in this vote thread for his approach to the track. but because of his actions he will be also be judged on how good or not so good he may be. Thats his own fault. And i don't mean cause he has been a douche they will vote me. not at all! i believe everybody in these battles to be stand-up guys. and will vote Tomthumb if his track is dope regardless of his past. Cause this is about the music. BUT nobody will forget the actions that led to this.

So yes OBI is right . right on point with his statements and frustrations. we have our own children to raise, now we are in here being step daddy!

So my long winded point is "respect". when this is said and done. he will have had to step up. And put his music where his mouth is. something i think he was a little scared to do in the beginning.

Maybe then he can become one of the cats in here battling having fun. I guess its just gotta be a public lesson for him.

with only two days left id better sit down and get this done. :?

I've voted a few times in the past for people I don't care for. Why, because the beats were slammin, that's it and that's all. Personal feelings aren't accounted for in my votes. Bad ass beats get my vote. Not the dude that pm's me asking me to support/vote.
