I also think it would be cool to be able to mirror the mpc screen onto a huge monitor.
Could this even be possible?

Hopefully he's not bored with it, but there can be burn out with anything.
We've all watched porn thats awesome for 15 minutes, and then you lose interest no matter how awesome it is and you have to leave it alone for a little while.
Having fun and making beats is important IMO, when thats missing you end up with a nightmare interface like a roland. That seems like it was designed in a boardroom instead of by someone who makes beats.

And I forgot to say that if someone here has good knowledge in mac programming and would like to create a mac version of MPC MOUSE, he can contact JJ :)

A bit late to the party, what's this about? Is the pad mixer MIDI control getting finally some new love? Previous versions still glitched out when moving the pad mixer volumes around quickly..

This has been my problem with JJ on both the 2500 and 1k a lot of changes or features always feel pointless.
Especially true when the new feature would forfeit some other feature.

Always seems that a lot of his features are about seeing if he can do it not helping production.

Seems he was probably getting request from users who had secret desires of being like the Ren, Maschine or MV.

Funny thing is imagine what any of them would be like if you had to use the mouse with the screen on the hardware?

V1.02 up today.
Seems that it's possible to use some keys on a keyboard.

seems like a midi conroller pretty much, or an extension to the keys that are already there. i think a mouse would really only be very beneficial if it had point and click ability. that would be cool, but i dont see how that could really be done with these types of screens.

i have always wanted a 1k or 2500, that had a touch screen, even if it was the same exact led pixel screen, it just had touch capabilities. the workflow wold be amazing if that were the case.

imagine just being able to touch and hold where it says "trk1" on the main screen and being able to re-name it from there. and when the alphabet came up, you could just touch each letter in instead of scrolling with the wheel or using the pads to enter it.

you could also just touch the seq to highlight it, and scroll to the next one without having to arrow over to it to be able to change it. just little stuff like this, would be amazing if it worked like that.

i think the speed of the workflow would increase 10 fold if something like that were possible.

its good to see he is still working on it if nothing else though!

That would be dope Damien a touch screen mpc with JJOS  But I think it will be pass the limitations of both the machine and software to achieve this idea.
