16-bit x0x samples for the MPC1000

I am wondering if there is a source for 808 + 909 16-bit samples. I looked at Goldbaby but it bothers me a bit to do a conversion 24 ->16-bits. In fact I read that the conversion 24 to 16-bit almost always altered negatively the samples.

I looked at MPC samples which has 16-bit samples, and their pack "drum evolution" looks great, but it is mostly 808 samples and does not seem to cover 909 stuff.

So I am still looking for natively 16-bit samples of 909 sounds. Any suggestion ?

It's no biggie converting to 16 bit, sometimes you just have to experiment with dithering and noise shaping, it depends on what software you are using to convert. These days you'll find the majority of 16 bit sample packs started life in 24 bit (which allows the developers to offer both 24 and 16 bit versions for different platforms).

I've been using those free samples.

They are well-recorded, well-organized and can be imported to MPC-1000 without conversions.
