Hi!

Does anyone know how does MIDI mapping work in MPC Ren software? Thanks!

What are you trying to MIDI map?

I would like to use another controller together with MPC... for example, I have a KORG KONTROL49 keyboard, I could use its faders to control MPC's mix. I can't find the way to map them without MIDI learn option or a MIDI implementation chart. Any ideas?

I don't think this is possible so far. Only way to find out which controller has which CC is mostly trial and error - if you have something like a MIDI Monitor or similar (as e.g. in Cubase etc.) you can use that to find out which controller's which.

Unfortunately, there's no way to map controllers to other CCs. I've read somewhere that you're stuck with these. Whether you try to control something else with the Ren or vice versa, you need to know the CC beforehand. But remember: some buttons don't send any CC via MIDI at all!

Pity, though but the only way to workaround is to use the MPC as a plug-in in your DAW of choice, route seperate tracks to seperate multi-outs and mix there.

I`d like to control the FX of the MPC Software by Lemur on Ipad.

Is this still not possible or are there news since 2012?

If not, maybe in 1.7? if it really comes....

yep not possible.... I'm assuming it will be updated to allow this, but who knows, they may only implement a limited version of control..(like volume on tracks and simple stuff..)
The plugin is very limited as well... In reaper if i load something like massive synth, every single parameter is controllable by reaper via midi or osc(so any midi controller is really easy to map) but when i load the mpc plugin, nothing shows up. except to bypass the mpc plugin.. Sucks balls...

Midi input to mpc is rather lame...

I hope they add a full extended midi input and output control...
