I have everything setup in Kontakt and on my MPC for sequencing. I load the first sample into Kontakt on channel 1A and record on the mpc 2500 (track 1; midi track; channel 1A), play it out on my midi keyboard, and it's no problem. I load the second sample into Kontakt on channel 2A , play the melody on the keyboard, hit record on MPC (change to track 2; midi track; channel 2A). On playback, the second sample starts playing with the first.
I messed around with the midi settings on both the MPC and Kontakt, tried switching channels, but it still remained the same.
I remember reading that if you sync a synth with the mpc, that you have to turn off the internal sound or you'll get double sounds when you record.
