I don't think there is any need for a request if you have two methods, that your not got quite right, already.
LFO first. Have you set the wave to square? I ask this as you mention it ramping and not cutting. Sounds like you are not using a square wave LFO and using sine/saw/triangle instead. Square LFO does it with out the ramping.
Second I would say that you do not like hitting pad twice means that they should change the OS. its takes two moves of the hand to do a proper transform to, so
You are right about the mute setting they suggested the other one but the one you got works, cept the whole omg i have have to hit the pad again. I am forever trying to tell people about patterns, and am sure mute info works, so make a mute transform pattern then it will be ONE pad press. I wil give it a go today, as I need to finish beat battle today and will try it. Simply make a blank track with mute info only, then make it a pattern, then assign to a pad then transform away by hitting paf once. sorted if it works. and it will always match tempo to and that kinda helps.
