My .APS file won't load all my saved sounds, shows E% at the

Anyone ever have this happen to them? Looked around and couldn't find any solutions. Please if you know what this is and know how to fix it please let me know!

This is what I have displaying on the screen... File: CALTBREEZE E%.WAV

I'm using a 1gb Sandisk CF card with the addonics reader that was like 20-30 bucks.


Possible causes:
1)sample names were saved with too many characters?
2)dust in the port/card
3)?????

Try a different brand CF card.

You didnt mention if if worked previously or not, so who knows...

Where were they saved onto the memory card from?

From the MPC, or from a computer?

The MPC has a 16 character filename limit.

If saving onto the memory card from a computer, try renaming them so that the filenames are less than 16 characters long, and try loading them again, to see if that fixes the problem.

i think the limit is 8 characters.
