Unfortunately no. So for me, this will still remain an unused feature. I don't think it's auto save that is the issue. The issue I think lay in the fact that saving in general interrupts audio. So as a result, so does auto save. I tried pushing for this but it seems to be a major thing to fix. Don't know why.

rookie wrote:I got a external floppy, threw in a MPC60 disk and it only gives me the option to format it? is your 2k files saved as .snd or fat32?

Mine are .snd.

That sounds like a problem with the external floppy drive and computer OS reading the MPC60 floppy disk, not necessarily with MPC Software having problems reading the MPC60 .SND file.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong though, loading of 2k snd/wav files can still be improved. The MPC software should have a utility or something built in that can read samples with names longer than 8 characters like my 2500 can. This is still an issue. However, if I load these same files in my 2500 first and save, then transfer to the MPC software, it will read long file names no problem. Since osx and windows cannot read these long file names, the MPC software should be able to.

Ah. Maybe we can see if we can get it added to the software. 8)

How is it different to setting Chop To: Regions, Num Regions 2, in the software at the moment?

The split function takes a region and divides it in half without affecting the other regions.

No.

Depends on how you work.

Previous MPCs have had a Master and a Sequence setting for tempo.

Having a global (Master) tempo option would not kill the Sequence tempo functionality, you would just leave it set to Sequence option, and it would work exactly the same way it does for you now.

Master tempo has been on the 60 to the 5000.It's an option that can be added into the preferences master tempo on or off .

ok cool. if the option is there to change it, I'm totally ok with this. options are great.

Will it be possible in 1.7 to now customize the q-link mappings for insert/send fx? Previously this has only been possible with virtual instruments, not fx.
I'm not talking about the main page q-link assignment.. Rather when you call up each fx window... The q-link mapping has always been fixed... Not ideal with fx plugins with many parameters!

@bdrake71 Have to be formatted as MPC expansion packs to appear in there. I'm not publishing the specs for it, but it's not exactly complex!
