I can't seem to install it on my mac, error is popping up saying "check with dev to make sure update works with this version"

You may have gotten the wrong links. That shit Timothy found wasn't correct. Download it through the actual software.

From the hardware, when you switch from Hybrid 3 to <none> on a plugin in track, the software crashes. Mac OSX 10.9.4/MPC Studio.

EDIT: When you switch from any plugin to <none> on a plugin in track, the software crashes. Can easily be reproduced.

Worked for me (Mac).
I got the file from the announcement on the software.

Before installing, I renamed the 1.6 version to "MPC 1.6" in hopes of getting to keep both 1.6 and 1.7, but it still overwrote the old one instead of just creating a new file – even though it said I don't have MPC installed on my computer upon launching the file I downloaded.

Well, it works!
