So far, just an unsightly and unnecessary annoyance

Ooops backup error unable to backup project.

CPU meter much higher than with 1.6

Setup that never crashed has crashed 5 times in less than an hour

Panning all to hell on existing projects

:Sigh:

This is why I'm gonna wait to install 1.7. If Akai has taught me anything in the past few years, it is not to trust them, especially on their initial shot at something. I can't afford to mess up my projects.

True so, but without us installing the software and giving this feedback it's hard for them to solve the issues.

You can do a dual installation of 1.6 and 1.7. This way you can test the new release, while running your existing projects in 1.6.

Went to adjust the volume of pad A6 in the program mixer and it automatically recorded my adjustment as automation. Was not recording/overdubbing...just playback.

Pad automation is recorded via the automation button on the program channel, not via transport recording. Are you sure weren't in automation write mode?

Yeah...the Global Write was on...thanks.

Am I missing something somewhere? I have the MPC studio, I use soundflower to sample in. With 1.7 I hit record and it just sits there, it used to start recording a sample.

When I load a beat from 1.6 the software notifies me that it is loading and project from the old mpc and then plays the seq all choppy distorted and the CPU is going thru the roof. The load screen with the same message came up twice while loading the project

Please place this in the proper section thx :WTF: :WTF:

Looks like its copying programs when loading the older 1.6 projects causing the cpu to spike...
