All of my installed factory plug-ins seem to be working fine but i can not load any of the individual factory content samples. If i drag an individual sample to a pad on my drum program, nothing happens.

I noticed in this 1.7 software preview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8NI43J756w) while looking at his expansions in his plug in browser he has the option to to select either a patch, sample or program related to that particular expansion. In mine i only get the option to select a patch.

Also none of the MPC factory conent or factory loop conent show up in my browser even though they do exist within the actual files.

Am i doing something wrong here?

The factory Expansion content is only accessible from within the factory Expansion plugins.

I think that his are not Expansion plugins, but are using the 'Expansion' browser to display normal MPC programs/samples/etc.

You should have a separate factory content folder to where the Expansion plugin content is located, if you installed that, and that factory content should be accessible from outside of any Expansion plugins.

I figured out where i went wrong.

When i originally installed the mpc software i couldn't use the disk it came with because my OSX said it didnt support power PC applications so i installed the software using the 1.6 download which doesn't contain the factory content.

I got around this by opening the package of the original install disk, finding the content installer and using that. I now have my factory content showing up.
