Now that we have track explode, the ability to rearrange tracks is ESSENTIAL.

Pad copy is basically useless and redundant when you can just use program edit to place the same sample on different pads.

Pad copy should be used to actually copy the sample to another instance of the sample. Going to process -> copy is cumbersome and a workflow killer.

Make all dB/fader volume levels font bigger, bold, and a color that can be seen.

The ability to utilize control surfaces/tablet control surfaces (v- control) to control faders, pan, write automation, etc.

1- Sudden is actually one of the best performance functions ever!!! Is there any way to lock it? it's just annoying when you are playing live and then, you must keep your finger pressing the sudden key.
Sometimes the Song Mode is a little bit boring... conservative. It's amazing in a lot of occasions but... we should had a "Real Time Song Mode".
The Sudden is awesome because we can play a full MIDI sequence just hitting a Pad, like we usually do with samples.
I would love to build my Songs, inside the MPC but, improvising in the Next Sequence Mode.

2- Rearrange Tracks = essential!!!;

3- Ability to Delete/Erase Multiple tracks (in the Mixer and Main Screen);

4- Ability to convert drum program to keygroup;

5- Master Tempo;

+1. Took me a good two minutes to even find what I was looking for.

I'd like to see direct record have two options added:

firstly to have audio that falls outside of the current sequence length to be auto chopped and added to an extra pad... so for example you could start recording, and if the sequence loops 4 times while you're recording there would be 4 pad events added to 4 seperate pads, 1 wherever the recording originally started, and 3 at the start of the sequence, in this way it would act as a continuous overdub looper...

secondly, kinda the opposite of the above feature: you could check an option that duplicates the sequence to match the length of a direct recorded pad... so for the same example as above you could overdub over 4 repetitions of a sequence, and when adding the pad event you could use this 'track extend' option so that the full recording plays out. Its relatively easy to do this already with the PROG EDIT button, and then manually deleting the duplicated pads for the longer recording, but hey the more automation in the workflow the better right?

Option to automatically map all Q-Links to the selected pad in Main Mode.

Drag and drop sample in track views. Double-click reset values to default (1.7 only Alt-click)

Attaboy for the browse third-party patches in 1.7. LOVE Hybrid 3 !!

Some things seem crazy late like the new filtered views for the fader groups.

Again, the Q-Links are useless in Main Mode. Id really like to automap those to the current selected pad. Q-Links are such a draw, why not make the most of such a major feature? I just dont get that at all. Such a waste.

I use the Q-Links in main mode all the time for adjusting program levels and pad tuning, as well as filters.. you just have to set them up they're not 'useless'. You can also control fx with them in main mode.

What do you mean by automap the current sellected pad? Automap a default set of controls for one pad at a time on the qlinks? Automap the levels of the 16 pads in the current bank to the q-links? Automap what??

First, I appreciate all the hard work that obviously went into OS 1.7. Loving the unified mixer, track explode, automation and a bunch of other features.

A feature I would really like to see is plug-in delay compensation. When inserting some plug-ins on pads the sound in a sequence playing back will be delayed by the processing of the plug-in. For years this was an issue in DAWs but now they handle it with plug-in delay compensation. The lack of this feature is hard to work around as one has to shift each drum sound by ear until it is back in time with the sequence, and changing plug-ins means doing it all over again. And if a sound starts on the first beat of the first measure one can't shift it earlier to make up for the delay. Am I correct in that Plug-ins report the amount of delay they create so programs can use this figure to compensate?

Do others experience this delay issue, or are people not really coming across this? Surely others must notice the delays (except when you are delaying whole programs or mixes as then everything gets delayed by the same amount). One big draw of the MPC was to be able to use all these cool Plug-ins on the sounds and it would be great to do so without them delaying the timing of the sounds.

A latch option for the Pad 15 Loop Playback mode in Sample Trim mode and also for individual pads in chopping mode, so you can adjust loop points while it is playing.

The ability to use all inputs not just (1+2) or (3+4). Im using the spdif input for my Motif (which is input 3+4) but i would like to use the other inputs without having to go into prefs and switching back and forth.
