You also have to remember that many of the DAW-ish features are actually trying to accommodate missing features that the 4k, 2500 and 5k had.
They tend to have a more DAW like appearance because of the computer view the software provides.
Akai really has a big task they are trying to accomplish in the fact of keeping the MPC intact while expanding it.
They could easily pump up the features but that could also cause us to end up with another Maschine.
Great product but even with v2 Maschine has a much different workflow than any MPC.
They can make as many changes as they like just don't stop the MPC software from having a fluid, intuitive workflow.
I know your Moms told you to believe in yourself but d@mn lets be realistic
