Double triggering pads

Some pads seen to double trigger when hit lightly, when hit with brute force they seem ok, is this working as intended ? Would I need a new mother brain? Pads ?

A new brain sounds like an awesome idea, if you deem this to be appropriate

I do experience this too (sometimes), when getting carried away and Full Level is enabled but it's more the way I hit/play the Pads than an electrical failure. Hitting pads gently always does it (better). Rather an effect than a real issue, probably some kind of rebound effect when hitting too hard. Both pads (original spec) and sensor (MPCStuff) have been replaced a couple of months ago.
However, you might have other issues here …

When I replaced the pads and sensors on my MPC60, it fixed the double triggering but I couldn't get full velocity no matter how hard I hit the pads.
I got the pad sensitivity mod done and now my pads are fine.

Sometimes pads will double-trigger as a result of poor technique. You must lift your finger off the pad quickly, it's a common error made by new users. We're only talking milliseconds here but with a little practice and you'll get the hang of it.

MPC60's do tend to double-trigger sometimes, even with correct technique. It' is part of the machines charm and at times you'll just have to live with it, or erase the duff notes.

Cleaning the pad sensor might help too. I had that issue on a couple of pads when I first got my MPC60. Initially I thought I was going to have to buy a new pad sensor to fix the problem but it turns out that a thorough cleaning with a damp cloth fixed the issue.

Got this worked out, I noticed my finger was dribbling from the bounce back. It's got nice velocity feedback. Seems to have a wider range than my previous Mpc's but I could be tripping. Thanks for the help
