The ability to change the midi note value assigned to each pad. For example the ability to make pad A01 reference midi note 49, A02 reference midi note 55, etc., etc.

First, i may say that MPC software passed from "Harsh and "from the scratch written"" to Clean, solid and Coherent. Akai really does a good job in 1.7. Renaissance start to become an idyll to me !

+1 Same request here !

Fanu wrote:How about double-clicking T.C. on hardware -> time correction off?

+1 GREAT, eats simply nothing !!!

And... "

+1 That's my request, since 1.2.

And... The ability to scroll the loop in the sample editor.

Example : I set a loop from 1 to 10000. A q-link may increment these both values by 1(x) when turned (X= maybe 500 samples or more ). There's 2 Q-links left in the sample edit. ( Very Usefull when Extracting various loop from a constant bpm track. )

And as Fanu said. Crossfade loop !!! Release is triggered by next note or a release signal.

Example : I play Pad A01. This pad is set as a loop from 1 to 1000. When another note trigger the program. The pad A01 just trigger the release of the volume envelope, and not simply cut the Pad A01 sample, but release it. I hope all understand what I'm trying to explain. Trackers does that Since 1990.

BTW Thanks again, Akai, for your consistent work this year. Renaissance slightly slides to revolution !

Unless I'm missing it, the ability to see and edit the PROGRAM MASTER FADER (inserts/volume/etc.) from the hardware.

I will try that right now and give you a feeedback right back !

Edit : Not possible, may be fixed.

An Additional request : In Program Edit :

The program Chanel strip should be shown. There's some free Q-Link value, it may be assigned to the Program Level Volume. (Q-link A09 I.E.)

Akai's own bridge app/program to use 32bit plugins in 64 bit app instead of using jbridge. Wants something that works more seamless how it does in FL Studio without having to convert anything.

I would like to see a filter in the program mixer where it shows the faders with actual sound.
Example: If I link Pad 6 totrigger pad 11 with the actual filters I have to use the filters with samples, that show me every pad that has a sample in a 16 sample program 16 faders are shown hence I will be seeing the pad 6 and pad 11. But if I chose to filter the view with the pads with events I only get to see pad 6 but not 11 eventhough it emits a sound it has no events.
Hope I made myself understood

Sorting samples in the browser.
I do have the habit of always going thru my latest breaks first when I'm going thru beats for a song, and with Ren I can't really view latest first etc.
Sorting samples would be tight.

Sample management needs a ton of work. I am super anal about being organized when I make a beat and the MPC software has been distracting in that regard because there is very little that you can do to be organized.

When you're finetuning things, such as track volume, holding CMD (Mac), it should't speed up when you do quick mouse movements…that's for small increments etc, not for abrupt leaps in any case.
