Hi everyone, my first post.
The MPC Studio is the first MPC I've ever owned, and I don't think I can produce without it anymore. Which brings me to my big issue with it as of late.
I use the MPC software primarily as a VST in Ableton Live 9.1 64bit. When I try to save or open a Live project that's running the MPC VST, I get a prompt saying "DAW project folder not found, or is unwritable", and it asks me to find the folder. By selecting the ableton live session folder, the prompt just pops back up again. Same thing happens if I close the prompt or if I click cancel. Nothing gets rid of the prompt! And Live is not functional while the prompt is active.
Things are more complex, though. This problem only occurs when the MPC VST has a sample open. Just having the VST open in Live as a fresh plugin (no samples), the project saves just fine. Trying the same thing in the MPC standalone software is alright too.
This problem only started occurring when I reformatted my PC a few weeks ago. I had been using the MPC for months before that without issue. Opening any of my old Live projects running the MPC software causes the prompt. Although the problem conveniently coincides with the 1.7 update, I don't think they're related. I've reinstalled Live and MPC, and have tried older versions of the VST.
To circumvent the problem, I have to bounce all audio from the MPC into audio tracks in Live, then close the VST. Very annoying! Any help is appreciated.

MPC 1.7 running as a 64 bit VST in Live
Intel i5 2410 @ 2.30 ghz
4gb ram
M-Audio M-Track running ASIO drivers
