Could this POSSIBLY take more than a day to code?!

Depends on how skillful the coder is to cook it up. Thou, one would assume that in a relatively large company this would be accomplished easily.

Yes because it would basically trickle down to any function that makes use of the current BPM information and cause it function improperly.

that would actually be pretty dope. 2 or 4 points to really **** with bpm ;)

also the fact that you cant just right click and delete a **** program

they need to work on their short cuts for software

or atleast give you an option to do that

i hate that i have to click on the pen or the selecter on the **** thing
instead of just clicking ctrl+ p or some shit like in illustrator or foto shop..

damn u akai

i dont even now what legacy mpc is. im assuming an older model?

also i dont know if this has been mentioned..

but being able to **** have more control of customization of a sample in "sample edit" mode. which all it really is a place to trip/chop a sample and a few other features. but once you start doing more to it then that you have to add a vst or what ever you want to call it to the whole program which makes it to where you can only use one sample per program if you want to add other effects to other samples. its also a pain in the ass to have do edit it how you want and then load it up on a track and then you mightve chopped or cut something out that you needed because of this.

then after you **** actually load it on the track and you add the **** program you want and you go back to sample edit it still **** plays like the original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you have to be switching back and forth to hear the changes made to said sample!

p.s

it shouldnt be taking akai **** months fora release...they should update more often or just release a fix or addon or what ever individualy so we dont have to wait for a complete version.

I agree that the hardware GUI is terrible even when compared to the MPC60 but I assume that you are supposed to be looking at your computer screen for the fancy bits. I'd love a better hardware GUI though.

If Akai could find a way to emulate the legacy Mpc's sequencer and program format i would be the most happiest camper. I hate loading up my 4k sequences because they load up like they are on acid. I want to be able to load up my legacy files without having to refer to my old hardware..

THIS Dammit...! THIS!

I see your point but I just think due to the differences in how things are handled in the MPC software and the 4k, it would be a step backwards.
In the 4k most of the program setup is handled OUTSIDE of the program, with the multi. Multis would be a pain in the ass because they are exclusive to one machine (if you are counting MPC's)
