I am thinking on a fresh install, but just need to know how to do it properly as if it were the first time. With clear instructions on the 32 and 64 bit locations for MPC. and using essentials in Sonar x3. Thanks :)

1 final thing, the software that you are using, can you have more than 1 track?

On Windows?

Uninstall the mpc essentials. Download and runn ccleaner. Reinstall mpc essentials.

Put the plugins where ever you normally put them.

Ok, so what was happening was somehow the MPC essentials that I had installed on my computer from 1.6 vanished, so I called Akai tech and they showed me the problem via remote control computer support. All is good now. Thank you guys for the initial help.

MPC Essentials had somehow vanished from my computer. All I had to do was go to the Akai web page, login with my registered user info and re-download Essentials 1.6. The tech guy said Essentials 1.7 would follow soon, but no definite date. The weird thing is I still have the 1.7 update of the standalone that has Hybrid 3 which is cool, but since Essentials is the software designed to be used in a DAW I am still on 1.6 and hence Hybrid 3 does not show up. 2 different versions of MPC on the same computer. My next question is how can I export out of the desktop what I created INTO Sonar x3, because I would like to use Hybrid 3 in my DAW it at all possible ? :)
