The MPC Software Hybrid VST discussion thread

I don't know how many people in here are into sound design, but this synth is dope! You can get some big warm sounds out of this thing. Couldn't find an appropriate thread to post these videos I found so I posted them
here.

I love this thing! I remember first using it with Protools 7 back in the day. It came bundled with the Music Production Toolkit.

I'm going to try and learn this one insout out. Great Sound IMO.

In this game only the paranoid survive. So I won't tell everything that I do in 808 Kick Drum creation, but I'll try to tell you enough to get you started.

The complex nature of soft-synths in general kinda turn me off but simple tutorials can bring out some better sounds other than those harsh ass presets.

Other people have been complaining that Hybrid isn't "hetero" enough!

I agree. A beat maker's in a good space if he's not "presets" dependent.

Not sure what they mean by that,LOL.

It's kind of different, but once I read the manual AKAI provided in the Help Menu and got an understanding of the Hybrid's concept I was good.

I won't know what this thing really does until I create a full Hybrid drum kit on it though. It's dope so far though.

There's a very good software to learn synthesis and train ears !

I appreciate the coming of Hybrid, the MPC bundle wasn't complete without a real synth, now it's done. Assign filter decay, cutoff and resonance, and have fun with Q-Links !

luv it.the filter is not on divas level. but very flexible with lots of features!!!too many Edm/trance/techno sounds

since hybrid is part of the mpc we should start a tread with patches
