MPCWeapon1 Hybrid 808 drum creation tutorial? :worthy:

In this game only the paranoid survive. So I won't tell everything that I do in 808 Kick Drum creation, but I'll try to tell you enough to get you started.

1. Turn off Oscillator 2 & 3 by bringing the level knobs down to 0%
2.Oscillator 1 make it a Square Sync wave. Start with the shape at 0% and turn the SEMI knob all the way down -24. Turn the Level knob up.
3.LFO Make sure it's a sine wave.
4.Filter- Filter type is LP4..turn the cutoff to 0%. Increase the envelope to about 50%, and turn the gain up.
5. Amplifier Envelope:
Attack 0ms,
Decay1 around 26ms and the level around 35%
Decay2 1.00s/sustain 0%

Turn the Amplifier level up and mess with the Hype Low and Hype high knobs
until you get your desired tone.

That should give you a nice starting point, but you're on your own from there, playboy. :smoker:

Thanks man!

In the video I posted above, around minute 11:48 he puts a compressor in a fx slot and you can hear a loud POP when is engadged. Listen to it low volumen so it does not blow your monitors.

Nope, but if you insist, I could make a preset and make it available to you...
