Transport control Pro Tools 11

Trying to get the transport control on the mpc to work with PT11

Got it working half way from the manual , I can record, put the 2 play buttons dont work. they are greyed out on the plugin GUI also

I'm having the same issue. I can get it to work in PT 10, but using the same steps in PT 11 it doesn't work for me. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. What about you?

win7 64 here to. works fine in PT10 also

I'm thinking the need to release a 64-bit version of the Akai Internal MIDI Port app. The other one is 32-bit. I could be wrong but that's the only thing I can see stopping it from working since PT 10 is 32-bit and PT 11 is 64-bit.

ah interesting! hope Akai is down with this

cant u use like jBridge or something to make the driver 64bits?

I know jbridge can do it for plugins and since this is an actual application I would think it needs some other type of updates to make it work under a 64 bit app.

If you have jbridge try it out and see if it works.

Not sure why it's not working for you. But the play buttons will always be greyed out in the software, even when it does work. It's working on my end for PT 10 and 11 on Mac.

No. I set it up once and it worked for both.

I get midi notes indication when I press the transports buttons on the instrument track in pro tools doh

Have you guys activated MMC? As far as I know PT11 defaults to Mackie HUI or HyperControl. Can't access 11 for quite a while, but check Sync options under Setup, maybe.

Yep. Followed the instructions exactly how it say. Works in 10 just not work in 11.
