is it possible to use an external device to turn tracks on and off? i feel like the biggest limitation of the 3000 for me is the need to navigate between tracks to turn them on and off. it'd be so great if i could turn several on and off at the same time over MIDI with my mpc500, or some other controller, or by any other method. any help is appreciated. :smoker:

On a side note: Folks keep telling me there's track mute via pads on the 3000, but neither the manual nor the menues offer this.

You might want to look into the SYSEX implementation of the MPC3000.

And I do mean SYSEX not midi continuous controllers.
