so creating some magic right now

and another lil adjustment that should be done cuz this shit **** grinds my gearz..

if i chop ssomething into 2 or even 30 **** parts and i create a program..when i delete that program i should be given the option to delete all samples as well.. or just automatically delete them..

second..the ability to **** double click on a sample and being able to change the name of it.

ability to select multiple samples! by eithere dragging the mouse over them with left click pressd or alt +left click or alt+a for all .

hmm...thats it for now.

I wouldn't expect any new features in 1.7.1, just bug fixes for what is already there.

Pete Goodliffe ‏@petegoodliffe 6h
@Corydgipson 1.8. I've snuck a few featurettes into 1.7.1. But that release is ALL about stability. More new stuff = more room for new bugs!

I've had no problems with 1.7. Everything works fine for me. Some of the reports i've read have not happened to me one time. But it doesnt mean these problems dont exist. All is well on my end

My urgent request is for real time timestretching. Pete Goodliffe assured me this is in the works. Maybe we will see this in 1.8. Thats when maschine got it i think. But i would love to have this now. this is a basic mpc function. It should have been standard when the software was made. All the basic mpc functions from day 1 should have been there.

Pete Goodliffe @petegoodliffe · Sep 16

@mreese06 I hear you. Deeper time stretch/warp is on the roadmap, yes.

Realtime time stretch hasn't been on any MPC up to now, and it's not a function of Maschine as far as I know. :hmmm:

Realtime quantize is way more important than realtime timestretch IMO.

None of the timestretch algorithms used in DAWs sound good on every source, to the point where some of the industry standard ones sound **** terrible on some sounds.

yes just bugs to sort out.
i would just like to see a little more focus switched back to sample edit. the mpc was originally a sampling drum machine. i know lot people don't sample any more.
the focus has been huge on VSTs and the mixer and DAW which has been important to a lot of people on the forum. i just would like to see it pushed as creative instrument a bit more as there are dozens of DAW already.

just a couple but small features.

there is a couple of instants where a prompt comes up "do you want to etc ? yes or no? "this isn't necessary as there is a undo now. just simple things like that can be removed.

Pad Copy needs to make a copy of the sample not just a new instants. so you can make adjustments to start/markers of the copy on the new pad.

one of the best things they did was "one shot" so simple but for anyone who likes to sample a great help.
in sample edit the a loop with one shot would be great.
in sample edit there are 2 Q knobs that are no used q16 q12 maybe we could have
them for attack and release on the sample.

with the MPC there are multiple ways of working which is a gift for the user but a curse for the developer so it's hard to please everybody.
overall pleased with what they have done so far, any extra features are a bonus in an update no matter how small.

We Do ! trust that every day

 make sure pete bakes our ircam timstretch/follow-tempo from our $459.00

IRCAM? Are you willing to pay $100.00 for it? Because it certainly will never be a free upgrade to the best time-stretching algorithms in the world.

i most def agree...i sample a lot..thats why i got the mpc in the first place.

i think you can one shot in sample edit mode if im not mistaken..they added new features now in mpc 1.7

would like for the actual loop pad which is pad 13 to just keep looping until i press it again..you have to keep it pressed if you want it to loop.

i keep telling people. its the small tings that really count and that make anything better..all those little **** twitches make the bg thing "mpc" as a whole a lot better.'

and iron leg..why did you disable pm ! haha..i wanted to pm u
