Send a Program to indi out for all sequences?

Hey all,

I am trying to see if there is a way to assign a program out if a particular out for all tracks. Often the programs use the track mixer, and I have to change it for all tracks that use the program and all sequences in the song.

Some programs seem to let me do it, but I don't get why or why not. I'm using JJ OS 2XL.

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but I just copy sequence or just params, and start from there. If you wanna change it after, this would be pain.. ..ss

Figured it out. With drum programs, in program screen>OUT screen you can set individual pads to TRK or the outs, Once you set the outs for the pad or all pads they will go out of te indi out selected in all tracks and sequences. It is saved with the program.

The problem is with Instrument tracks. With those you can only use the track mixer. Which means if you use one INST program on many tracks and sequences, you have to change each track in each sequence to the out you want to use.

Not all bad with the JJ shortcuts of main programming to get to the track mixer and the 2nd seq button to scroll through sequences, but still kind of a pain. I think I will assign inst programs to indi outs on each track from the rip. So as I copy sequences they will be assogned. Gotta remember to set to indi outs as I add tracks or it will be messy.

Would be nice to set a INST Program to an out abd skip the track mixer, not sure why that call was made. Thanks for the help. I seriously thought you were going to tell me to use pattern mode. lol.

Can't blame him. There is so much to get excited about in this machine. I'm geeked on the shortcuts right now. So many pools to dive into.
