How difficult would it be to promgram the MPC Software sampler with a sample reverse/forward loop playback and corssfade capability? Is it a reasonable feature request?

1. why did you not post this in 1.8 wanted features.

and 2. what do you mean?

playing a loop the way it is then reverse it and apply a fader to it?

why dont you just make 2 copies of the sample and reverse one and program it yourself and make a loop?

i havent really used the fading tech so i dont know much bout dat

To answer #1...didn't see the feature request thread and didn't feel like searching for it.

Question #2...it is awesome for creating sustained stabs. The crossfade is used to remove the slightest click in the loopoint. If you have another DAW, try using the stock sampler to create some sustained stabs using the reverse/forward and crossfade...it will change the way you view samplers.

For the record...I have requested this feature on each versions request list since version 1.1.

well it was all overlooked because all the keyboard beat makers and plugin pirates
started whingeing on about the mixer. now that's out god-dam way lets get back to
the waking up this beast sampler that headz want.

(i know i'm only joking yes mixer need a sort out)

but please lets have some akai full on sample business. i know it's no fashionable
but hey they did put a phono and grd on the bloody thing for a reason, to errrr maybe sample from a record deck !!!

i don't need anymore sample packs with flashy graphics or built in plugins thankyou.

any sample edit features are truly welcome.

I try not to bash the programming team and their efforts but....that was funny as hell.
