OSX: MPC 1.7 Plug In Scanner crashing Waves Plug Ins

Anybody have a resolution or some kind of workaround for this??

try re scanning your plugins with the scanner in 1.6.

I took the route Masada suggested. Scanning the AUs only does just that and not the .vsts....Or am I wrong? The software can do some weird shit at time so i have to question everything lol

I was going to make a thread about this. This is highly frustrating bc waves is what I use on every beat I make. Hope it's fixed soon. I am also still getting crashes with various plugins but that's another story

@mreese06 Waves plugins do something unusual that crash the new scanner. 1.7.1 resolves it; we had to make a workaround.

@mreese06 1.7.1 will be out very shortly with bug fixes. I'm toying with dropping another cool present in 1.7.2 whilst we work on 1.8.
