We asked for that, and they gave it to us integrated into the software, makes me wonder if it is actually possibly within the limitations of the hardware/firmware.
They would need to a standalone app to go with it like NI with their controller editor and a driver update and possibly firmware but Its well doable for them
I would like drag and drop from plugin to daw sequences or or wav and would also like to see sample mode with at least four insert slots so you could setup say a guitar rig and be able to get the tone your after and sample it straight in this could also be useful for cleaning up vinyl on as its sample too and many other things that would save time and cpu
Another that would be great is fatten Vst/Au to pgm where each note or chords would be sampled and automatically put to pads with events this would be great for cpu and sound design
Id like to see another filter in the program edit section with the same options that would help out a lot
A better vintage mode with hardware component modelling like arturia do with more models like 2000xl,Asr10 which both have a unique sound and the ability to have it on the main out or part of program edit section
A full on controller mode with controller editor
keyboard mode so if you plugin a keyboard it places the pads in the correct order on a midi keyboard
Better routing options for midi and audio ..say bfd2 with all the drums being sent out to different mixer tracks and more options for things like parallel compression ect and the ability to have just a midi track with midi fx say an arp (kirnu/catanya) sending the signal to a vst track and the ability to send a midi signal to an audio effect like turnado/artillery2
Real-Time time stretch like kontakt and more options for the offline time stretch like hardware mpc's
A simple eq in pgm edit to help carve out your pads/pgm
Id also love the ability in the midi section to draw slides from note to note like bitwig or fruity loops this is much faster for the work flow and and helps keeps things musical and easy to experiment in
The update could just be called BEAST MODE rather than 2.0
