The scanner still doesn't work with Waves v9r20 plugs.
These are not old Waveshells, mixed Waveshells or cracked plugs.

Maybe they need some BETA testers who actually use some of the Waves plugs that are authorized through the new Waves Cloud System?
Or they need to at least test it.

Starting to seem like they aren't testing it at all since it's problem that 's pretty hard to miss.

Oh well off to re-install 1.6 so Ii can rescan my plugs again.
I guess the next time Pete claims a fix I wait and let some other dummy try it before I f*ck with it at all.

Legit Abbey road bundle plus some basics here and scaning alright with the cloud authorization and all. No Crack. Fresh install. :fku:

They do. My waves plugins are legit and mine now scan fine in 1.7.1. I was the one that originally posted this bug to Akai because my legit plugins weren't scanning. Now they are. Not sure why it's not working for you.

Maybe because I have Win7 or maybe the difference in the Waves bundles?
To make it even crazier the first scan I did with 1.7.1 also dropped my 2 of my 3 IK plugs?

How your Waves plugs authorized, mine are to the computer from their new cloud system and are the latest version as of Aug 2014.

Also I am running MPC Software in 32-bit not 64.

Hmmm the mention of cracked makes me wonder if you are telling on yourself?

All I can say is on a Win7 maschine running in 32-bit mode 1.6 scans all my plugs with no problem and brings up the Waves fine.
While 1.7 and 1.7.1 fail on the 9.3 waveshell so they don't load.
None of my other VST host have this problem.

I even went as far as to clean up all the MPC software and Waves stuff and do clean installs from scratch since this was a problem 1.7.1 was supposed to address. :(

Even had to unlock my MPC software again in doing so but the scanner still didn't work.

I use the WLC to authorize my computer and both 32 and 64 bit scan. I'm also running v9r20. Masada and Triple X have PC and theirs also scans fine now. I noticed that the waveshell shows in the scanner as Z-Noise when it passes the scan. Did you check to make sure the plugins really aren't there?

And yeah, I noticed my SampleTank 3 isn't scanning in 32 bit (not sure if 32 bit is even supported anymore) and my T-Racks Classic EQ also won't scan. They are looking into this.

Yea SampleTank 3 is only 64-bit. You'll have jbridge if you want to use it as 32-bit.

Same plug in scanner performance here, unfortunately :(

That aside, that mixer definitely sounds much, much, much better than before. Way more headroom and 'space' to the overall sound.

Solo automation is a much requested feature and is much appreciated.

Less crashes so far.

Good stuff Akai :-D

I don't understand this sentence...
I responded in the first page that my waves where scanning right, and you afterwards(thou not saying it to me personally) talked that yours are not cracked or tempered with...
So aren't mine either.
But I am on mac.

He is implying that your plugins are cracks, and not legit.

Next he will be asking for you to post your receipt as proof of purchase!

You mention cracks more than anyone else, you must be running cracked plugins.
