man this thing is f*cking sick i read the manual i cant wait to use it in conjunction with the mpc...
it does do cc and velocity and note length, you can set its scale, use chords, point more than one track at your midi device (more controllers), will chain loop up to 192 patterns total, will accept midi input/control of what patterns play, transpose, etc. will merge midi input with midi output, also has 2 outputs. has most features you would expect in a step sequencer like forward, backward, ping pong, random, double tempo, 1/2 tempo, independent last step for all tracks... and cheap enough to own multiples!

isnt that cool? rather that gush more about how happy i am with this, ill just say that ive always been looking for one of these and dont see myself ever getting rid of it.

Yeah I got one and it's great. Amazing design. so fun to use.I can't wait until my overlay gets here.

I've been interested in the BCR2000 as well, since it's been recommended as a good MIDI controller for the money. This step sequencer hack makes it even more interesting and gives it even more value for the money. I haven't read up on it entirely. But hopefully I can use it for both needs without any issues.

dood you would love it. i love it, i bought 3 of them. seriously grab one, its almost a perfect hardware sequencer for the price! not too complicated or esoteric or cryptic, menus are only 1 button deep. i give it 9.5/10 in its price range. maybe higher.
