Anyone had this problem?

My boy came over today to track out some beats and this happened when he tried loading the files from the internal zip. We tried turning of and turning back on the MPC, different disks and some other sh!t, but it seems to be fuced. Anyone know how to fix this.

looks o.k. to me, just a little jagged. Did you try to load them at all? or does it just freeze?

Did he try to reload his OS or has his screen always looked like that and he aint tellin you about it?

Nah, he said it would bug out before but could usually he could get it working after a bit, this is a straight freeze and the screen starts morphing. And Lamp, he dont even know what a OS is, lol.

WOW, what's going on here...... That's deep.

Maybe his MPC is slowly biting the dust. Try the OS thing first.

It might just be corrupt files.
It might be the MPC motherboard itself.
I can't think of anything else.

Yo it aint that deep lamp, Im the only one out the click that knows even slightly about computers, internet and all that. For real. These cats just know the MPC should turn on and work.

somethins crazy though, cause my mpc is hurtin, and only once has my screen done that. i just shut it off, turned it back on and never saw that again. i was wondering about the smoke cause im always blazing in the lab.

I don't let ANYONE touch my MPC for that reason right there. Some dudes is just WAY too heavy handed. You think that might be it, he's beating the heck outta his MPC while making beats?

At first look it seems to just be a screen malfunction (a new screen could be like $100.00 bucks) but you said the whole thing freezes, I would personally open it and air dust it out (but you could end up messing it up more) kiss it, huge it, and tell it I love you. Let it get a rest sometimes, and when you are working make alot of saves, I use to get some div00001111 or something error alot it just stoped by itself. And for the saves while I was doing sessions or just producing I had this old little alarm and set it for 10 to 15 mins and save when it went off, good luck and I hope if you do have to bring it in the cost wont hurt you too bad....

word, its not mine, but ill tell my boy to open it and clean it or something. heavy fisted ***** will probably break it even worse.
