They're fairly powerful little synths though and have an amazing feature in the Mod Matrix. You can have almost any parameter in a patch controlled via CC. That's why I suggested getting a separate MIDI controller with lotsa knobs

Yeah, unfortunately the Miniak/Micron's MIDI implementation is pretty awful. The only things that send MIDI properly as far as I know are the keys, pitch bend wheel and mod wheels.
