If Akai get the plug in scanner right for everyone and improve the sampler engine to the Akai Z Series standards then we have the successor to the 4000 and Akai z8 us sample heads have been aching for for oh so very looooong.

If version 2.0 has the above with audio tracks and is a paid upgrade you can take my money now. Simples!

I made 3 beats today on 1.7.1
For the first time EVER, no crashes throughout every step. :worthy:
windows 7 64-bit-- but I ran 32 bit mode because J-bridge don't want to bridge right now.
Jbridge can go **** right now.

NOW I'm going fishin and listening to my new beats....PEACE

I don't use plugins in the software, so I'll take your word for that part of this, but the rest - Akai Z Series sample capability - would be awesome. Still miss my Z8.

Few things I've noticed after using 1.7 and 1.7.1:

1. I wish Edit Zones -option would reset when changing to a different program. (plus I find myself still clicking those options by mouse, although I thought controlling this option with hardware was one of the most needed features haha). Or the Edit Zones -option could be remembered by each program even?

2. The mixer is better. Program mixer (or the mixer system overall) could use "linking the faders" option. It's now a pain to adjust let's say a layered snare overall level (multiple pads). Shift + clicking the wanted faders would do!

3. Thank's for the Hybrid vsti. I've been using this a lot!

4. I like the little tweaks like adjusting the volume of the browser (as I tend to leave a lot headroom).

5. I'm still struggling with the crackling caused by wi-fi issue. Could this be a driver or a firmware issue? My wi-fi adapter is a shitty Atheros adapter, so I wouldn't rely on them to solve the issue...

Yeah this doesn't seem like it can be resolved anytime soon. The solution?
Turn off the damn wi-fi and get lost in the creative process!!

Yes, wi-fi causes issue with a lot of audio software. This isn't something unique to the MPC.

For sure. It's just pain in the ass 'cause I'm forced to connect by wi-fi and Ren is also my only audio interface right now. I swear I'm cursed with my apartments, the one I lived before had **** up electrics which was causing same kinds of issues haha.

Next he will be asking for you to post your receipt as proof of purchase!

THE ADVERSARY wrote:Hmmm the mention of cracked makes me wonder if you are telling on yourself?

You mention cracks more than anyone else, you must be running cracked plugins.

No simon it's because when I first mentioned the problem with Waves the first reply someone offered was to use the Shell2VST to hack the Waves plugs with others supporting doing so.

Gives the impression that more people are running cracked Waves than legit.

That type of convo helps nothing so I just want people with cracked Waves to stay out of the reporting.

He acted like an @ss with his post by adding the :fku: to his post which made it suspect.

Also why would I need him to send a photocopy of his p*ssy to prove his ownership?

If someone says they are not running cracks, I think you should believe them, unless there is proof otherwise, you are not the only one running legit Waves.

The receipt thing was reference to a previous poster, who used to not believe someone owned the product they were asking about, and wanted a copy of the receipt as proof that they did.

I thought it did? PRetty sure it works when changing tracks, maybe not changing the pgm on a track?

Should work the same way like edit zones in pgm edit.. via controller anyway.. Hold shift press pads you want to fader link and then tweak any one of them(adjusts relatively )

YEah, I',m stuck with the usb 3.0 thing. The driver still doesn't play nice with this win 8.1 laptop i have, (all usb 3.0 can't change in bios no option to do so) So i'm forced to use steinberg ur44 or rme uc... Incase anyone is looking for a interface(and budget), i haven't really recomended anything other than rme stuff, but these steiny ur models are really **** good.

No, it does remember the option if you change a track or if you change a track and the program.

Exactly!

Oh and just remembered what I'd like to be added in the future versions. 'Copy Bars' -function should be able to copy a half a bar. I always remember this when wanting to make a certain type a Intro sequence...

The point was he added a emoticon to the post that made it seem like a taunt, which gave it the impression of saying more than was typed.

Nothing about his post required a "F**K You" emoticon to be added to his statement.
