New Sensor, New pads, 1 pad playing up. Thoughts?

So I recently did an upgrade for a friends MPC1000BLK pre pad fix from Akai.

They purchased new pad sensor and fat pads from MPCStuff and I installed them NO problems about a year ago.

Now their a gigging muss and their MPC is the centre piece so abuse a plenty.

I got a message the other day from them, pre show, about pad 1 not responding, or, responding intermittently.

I suggested setting to full volume, monitoring pad response and adjusting the trigger sensitivity.

I haven't heard back to see if anything had changed so thought I'd pre-empt and do the "fuuuuuuuuu…….. what now" call out to see what comes back.

make sure the hard to insert rubber nipples have made it through the holes in the new metal base that came with pad upgrade. also make sure your pad plugs are both seated firmly.
