I just installed all the software for my new MPC Studio but I can't find the location of the files I installed from the disks... The software installer content sections, the expansion pack 809 and The Bank samples are nowhere to be found... I've got a Mac...
Appreciate any help :)

The 809 and The Bank are plugins, their content is only available from within the plugins, on MPC plugin tracks.

The versions supplied on the installation disks are 32 bit versions, you need to update them to operate in 64 bit mode, if you are running MPC Software 1.3 or later in it's default 64 bit mode, or choose to run it in 32 bit mode. There are separate/individual Expansion updaters supplied with the MPC Software updates.

Can you please tell me how I can update them to operate in 64 bit mode? And if the option to do this takes too long, how can I choose for them to operate in 32 bit mode for now?? Also, where can I find the expansion updaters? Thanks for answering :)

When you download an MPC Software update from the Akai website, it includes separate Expansion update installers within the file that you download.

To run in 32 bit mode, you select the MPC Software application in the Applications folder, choose get info from the file menu (or right click and choose get info, or press command-i), then tick the box that says Open in 32-bit mode.

Everything was finally resolved... When you connect to the internet with the pc your using a message pops up that there are updates for he software... It sends you to your browser and automatically starts downloading a file... Once you open it there is an update for the software for any sample packs you have... Thanks for the help everyone. :)
