hey I'm an old MPC2000XL user, used to tour with it and rock people, but I took some time off from beats for a while. Now I just bought a MPC Studio and am getting back into it. Here is a remix I did of Arvo Part's classical piece, "Fratres". Let me know what u think... It's my first complete song with the new hardware, so it's pretty basic, but it's ok.

Magic: An ok beat, maybe the kick has a little bit too much "plastic slap" in it, as the other sounds are quite raw.

Something weird Cypress Hill'ishh beat I did few days ago:

nice
diggin the gee tawr part.
but after a while it got a bit repetitive for me.
nice beat though

^really really liking this..
going to listen to the original to see how much you changed it up...

did you just add drums?
like the lil "break" before the piano part..
sick
did you sample the drums or play em your self?

the drums are a series of drum loops I downloaded and stretched, and I put one on each pad, and played the pads, playing a piece of one loop, and then another.

I also added the bass and synth stuff to the song. The original is a classical piece, so it's quiet different. There was another part of the original song I wanted to put in that's more climactic, but I was having trouble getting it to work, and just wanted to be finished.

Thanks for listening, I appreciate it a lot.

Hey guys,
I heard a lot of dope stuff here today... Almost don't dare posting my own stuff. Anyway, I am inspired enough now to leave work asap and go home and try to be creative!

To everybody: Keep up the good work! :worthy:

Peace!
