Good records :) I know about that price, especially when needing doubles x'D

Managed to get doubles of the Loop Troop instrumentals a while back. Had to use Discogs also. Not going to find Sweedish rap record instrumental sets around here LOL

Blasphemy!! You better go check out the Soul Survivors and NY Finest albums. Pete is the greatest!

Anyway, I did the same as you did. Sold all my mediocre crap and only kept/buy what I want now. No more buying in bulk to get like 2 good albums and 60 Tom jones/ Dionne Warwick albums. Discogs gets you what you want but you get raped on shipping, most times. I'll post pics soon.

Ohh, i know them albums, and even have them on CD, it's just that i don't listen to those enough to really want them on vinyl.

I don't know... Pete is a legend, but it doesn't mean i want to listen to every single one of his productions. Same goes for J Dilla... dude made some masterpieces, but not all of his productions are super dope to my ears. Gotta pick your favorites sometimes and stick with those. They are not paying me to listen to their music, so i don't see why i should listen to the tracks i'm not really feeling just to glorify them... :fku:

I understand that. I don't see why Dilla is such a genius in some people's eyes. I only listen to Donuts every now and then. I don't buy Hip Hop albums on vinyl, no need, got an IPod with them. ( I do have an unsealed Illmatic, but not to listen to). Pete's the greatest and I'm out

About do another UHAUL dig.

This entire store, is one giant dollar bin (tax included, so it's truely 1 dollar each) full of not dollar bin stuff.

This was found on a complete stoke of luck driving back to the city where I live. It's like an abandoned military base ghost town. Only seen a few cars and not a single person in sight. Then there is a record store I'm assuming in what was a shopping district at one time.

There going out of business. So I'm getting another lorry and were going to try and clean up.

It was a hell of a ting.... Was war. We show up first to the doors 2 hours early and this very nice Mercies parked and looking over he has a crate on his lap through the tint windows and he's glaring back at us, were like yeah. This guy is going to be trouble.

But anyway doors opened was 7 of us, flying around, digging fast, grab everything but also be careful because you can't afford to get a bad record in a situation like this. People covering labels, clutching their stacks, checking to see where each other are digging it was mad. It was an extremely tense situation.

So we end up filling our cars, and we want to go back... They call and say yes we put more boxes out. So we go back, it was maybe 6 hours later, and we get there, the place is PACKED and mostly the Japanese guys. You had the Hip Hoppas and beat guys, then the ones in the suits of course.

See, nobody beats the Japanese. They ALWAYS know where it's at. So to walk in and groups of these cats looking through areas we cleared out, just not looking pleased. Our mate overheard one guy saying to the other "Anything good?" and the other telling him "someone got here before us".

It was sad in a way.. But we're always at the other side of this situation. So for once it was nice to be the ones who got to it first.
