MPC Software is unusable...need HELP!!!

Can someone help me figure out why this keeps happening everytime I open a VST. It only happens in MPC software. Makes it unusable because, it will not go away unless I quit MPC.

What VST is it your using? Is it akai's own order another software.
is it just with one particular VST or all of them?

Was it doing this before you upgraded to Mac 10.10? Remember Yosemite not officially supported yet.

**** knows what drives people to update to newly released computer OSes before the inevitable problems with them are found, and sorted.

Not sure if this is the same problem, but Ableton support lists a similar sounding problem with VSTs in Live...

Certain 32-bit VST plug-ins that make use of outdated versions of the JUCE framework seem to have drawing problems with the plug-in GUI.

The symptoms are: completely empty plug-in windows, misaligned UI elements, not being able to close the plug-in window.

If you experience such issues, we recommend using the 64-bit versions of these plug-ins, if available, and contacting the plug-in developer for additional information.

All my VSTs are doing the exact same thing in MPC. It started happening after I updated to 10.10. Can't downgrade...I'm in the military and deployed right now. I don't know what I was thinking...my **** up. It appears to be a MPC issue because, it affect everything when MPC is open. Don't have the problem with Ableton. I will try the 64 bit version and see if thw same thing happens. As of right now I can say it is a 32 bit MPC issue only that is caused by all VSTs.

At least use it as a lesson about new OSes, let everyone else upgrade, there is no reason to rush into it, you're not going to miss out on anything, it isn't going to make your audio apps/hardware magically work better, it is more likely to cause you grief.

Not a problem in fact, but a nuisance.

Try using AU versions instead (if on a Mac).

Else: Just try clicking regions to change parameters, and your GUI should change soon enough.

I have the same nuisance with iZotope plug-ins all the time, but clicking a minor (responsive) part of the plug-in solves it. Just a matter of make-do.

Sorry for being unclear: Try clicking almost any clickable surface in the plug-in (if you know where those are ) and it should work. Doesn't always, but it helped for me.

Hey there, I've been looking for a long term fix for this, but the fix I just found is if you click on the arrow next to the x before you close it, it will no longer be in the front so you can simply click back to the mpc and it will go behind it. Doesn't fully close it but at least you can keep working. Hope they really fix this soon.

why i upgraded to yosemite right away i have no idea.

goddamnit.

Just run the 64-Bit version. Won't have Sylenth1 or Waves but everyting else worke for me bruh
