Yosemite and MPC software

Who has taken the plunge?
or
who is going to be the first to see if the MPC software works with Yosemite?

Or will Akai actually announce that the Ren is compatible?

I haven't done a lot of testing on it. But have done some basic testing. Didn't have any issues in the time I spent.

As long as it did crash instantly.

I'm downloading now. Will report back with any issues.

I was gonna upgrade any way, I just wanted some preinstallation comments that might change my mind. I know akai is not going to give any support until they are sure it works with Yosemite.

We would be Beta testers anyway.

I did.. No issues yet.

If you make a living with your equipment, proceed with caution-at least until you hear from Akai.

just about ordered a new performance laptop, goin for the Macbook air supercharged i7..

its only gonna run MPC for live shows.. its only a 1.4 ghz 8G ram...
do ya think it will handle the software , for the next cpl years?

i been playin off a 7 yr old MBP 2.4 ghz... that was struggling!

question Hellfire, did you use the 10.9 driver when using Yosemite?
is that just computer driver & not hardware? cos ill be swappin from 10.8.5 (production)& 10.10 (live gigs)..\
hate for there to be a clash between..
