USB mic

I bought a usb samson mic today and i wanted to know if/how to set it up to be used with my mpc renaissance.

usb mic? damn. that sounds pretty cheap.

but hook it up and go to sample record and choose external..

i think that should work..

If on a Mac, in MPC Software Preferences/Audio, select the Samson mic in the list of audio inputs.

If on a PC, you might need to install/use ASIO4All, so that the mic can be used with MPC Software as an ASIO device, as I don't think it has an ASIO driver for it.
