MPC REN TRACK MUTE

Hello folks! I've been practicing on the mpc for a live show i got coming up. I've been messing with the new automation feature, the track mute, etc. I've had an issue with the MPC REN and I was wondering if some of you could help me out. Is there anyway you can somehow record what you do in track mute? For example, I have the sample on one pad, the kick on one pad, the snares, hi hats, baseline on the others, and I was wondering if I can somehow record when I'm muting a certain track. If so please help me. If not I think this feature what be great to add in the next update.

Put the sequencer in overdub mode and track mutes will be recorded. All TRACK (not program or pad) commands are recorded in overdub mode. This includes track mute, track pan, track level, pitch bend, basically anything related to or controlled by midi.

So if i wanted to make a new sequence with the elements i have overdubed i could record that?

i tried pad mute and muted some stuffs..and when i went to song mode..it did it on all sequences..not just one ;(

@dj hellfire, how do you erase the track mutes? On the 2500 you use to go into track mute and erase the events. I don't see it anywhere in the manual.

i think you highlight track on mpc hardware and the window button lights up..you click on it and it gives you a clear option.

also just use the software and you can click drag the automation and erase it.
