MPC500 Question

I recently bought an MPC500 off Amazon and when I connect it to my laptop using the USB, I do not get a pop-up or anything regarding the MPC. It is plugged in though, the MPC says the USB is connected. I would just like help to get this thing working thanks!!!

RTFM!!!!!! so many peeps ask this and a quick search will turn it up, if i tell u i would just be giving in and you would never take the time to learn the mpc500… so rather then getting upset cause i might come across as a dick, just know that i did it cause i love you…no homo..
