LOL, in no way was I trying to imply that. I'm so used to the limitations of my ipad that I had to ask. I forgot that the surface is not a tablet but an actual PC in tablet form.

Yeah, iPad is limiting as hell compared to a pc, but Surface is a pc so yeah, imo it should work without a problem. I was put off by bad reviews of surface 1 and 2, I heard 3 was solid stuff.

The expensive models come with 8gb of RAM and a choice of i5 or i7.
The cheaper models have only 4gb of RAM.
Keep that in mind, I guess.

Edit: I do not think you can upgrade RAM. it's a fixed chip.

For those who use the Renaissance software on the surface , can you use the touch screen to trigger the pads or do you have to connect the Ren controller.?
