Hahahaha!

I still have to smile about it, that panic look on his face, it said something along the lines of "What the **** do you want in my apartment??? Nope nope nope! Gotta defend my home! Shit! WTF?!".

(i didn't actually enter his apartment, just followed him to the door and was about to follow him inside (and asked him if i should take my shoes off, i'm a polite burglar... lol), that's when he got scared and shit got real, haha)

This is the worst thread to come to when you're gear hungry and have no money in the bank!

Slowly gathering pieces for a decent PA system. Other stuff to be posted shortly.

So in the mean time both amps total 4200 watts, 18" JBL subs (other on its way), EV S15 2 way speakers, & "dbx driverack PA plus" speaker management system (or digital crossover) to be added soon too.

This sh!t cranks like no other!

I got also some instruments in background (akai S01, Boss SP-202, Roland VS-880 and so on), perhaps for an other picture haha!
You can surely help me with my MPC 2000, some small buttons not work really well, you have to press hard enough. What is strange is that sometimes they work well, sometimes not.
I already disassemble the hood to look at but everything is clean and there is no dirt (by eye)
An idea ?

The tact switches are probably just worn out. You might wanna change them for new ones.

it's what i thinking to do, hope it's not too expensive on mpcstuff..
An other problem : i bought an 8 outputs card for the MPC 2000, and plugged it, but after my INPUTS doesn't work.. (no sound). I unplugged it, and work again. I tried to change the IDE cable but this change nothing.
so weird! Anyone got this same problem ?

got a midas f-16 coming soon,

got a lexicon mx 200 and sp 808 for crappy FX, really want a dp4 or a moog SD fooger.

i just sample into the mpc, sometimes i play the turntable through the voyager for the filters.

chain is TT thru j33 ortofon qber thru voyager to MPC.

no interface no DAW, thinking about adding some outboard preamps after the J33.

I wouldn't spend all that dough on a Voyager and then put it on a towel rack within dogs reach, but that's just me. Maybe look into your ergonomics, some nice gear you have there.

thanks for your concern, but i got the voyager a couple of weeks before moving across the country and did not want to go thru the hassle of having to haul a 2 tier stand.

im on the fence about selling the phatty in order to maybe purchase a MF 104 SD.

but yeah i know, exactly what are you talking about, this is also a temp home.

this is just a setup until we get settled in our own spot.

have been looking at desks that could fit all my stuff, but also the dogs know better, they dont mess with my gear or my shoes.

haha yeah, my dog knows three things very well.

1. dont toilet inside
2. dont chew my nikes
3. dont chew my record sleeves

he'd chew the couch to pieces before he touched my ish haha
