MPC Studio for a Linkin Park-ish live Performance

I bought the MPC Studio recently to use it for our life-performance. How we handled it so far was very complicated and has (as you will see) some negative effects:
We use Cubase to compose our music and bounce our backingtracks into Wav-files which we put onto the pads of our mpc (1 pad = 1 song). Since our drummer needs a metronom-click in the right tempo, we added a click into the wav track and panned it on the left channel, the rest of the backing track panned right, send the left output to the mixer of our drummer and the right output to the PA system.. the problem: we're unable to use stereo-sound in our backingtracks and have to split the signal everytime with the right wire.

Now my question to you guys:
How can I use my MPC Studio to activate backingtracks with a simple push of a button and get a metronom to play perfectly synced? Plus, I have to able to send the metronome to another output so we can have a stereo backingtrack on our PA system and send the Metronome to our drummer.
Another thing I want to include: We have to be able to get from backing track 1 to backing track 2 without interruption, means we wont have time to open a new preset for every single song we play. Thats why we used the pads to activate the tracks before.

We dont have a DJ available (they are inexistent in switzerland..) so we will only use the mpc as a playback device so far. 1 click - 1 song. No looping or sequencing.
We also have an interface with several outputs.

I would do this with ableton and a launchpad....

No I'm not really sure if we use the right gear thats the thing. The MPC is the only gear we have available so far and we found ways to handle it more or less with it.

How would you do it with ableton and a launchpad? Feel free to post a link or a youtube tutorial. I might invest into that in the future but I never used ableton before.

Any possibilities to do that with the mpc?

i agree that using the mpc for this is weird, but to do what you want I would set up sequences that are 999 bars long and contain a single sequenced event each to trigger one track per sequence. you can set individual bpms for each sequence, so you can match up bpms to tracks.

to trigger the sequences you just need to put the mpc into next seq mode and hit the pad for the track you want to play next which will cue it, then hit sudden to jump into it.

Throw the backing tracks in the sequencer. Each wav in another sequence. Use the Next Sequence function or scroll to the new sequence if you want or need some extra time between songs. Lay down a hihat pattern in a separate track in each sequence. Use this as your metronome. Assign this to another output and done.

(Not sure if you can assign tracks to physical outs on your interface from the MPC Software. Otherwise you can link the metronome track through Cubase first as a workaround)
