So i'm importing midi files which has been exported out of reaper. The starting note according to reaper is the lowest c that you can choose in a daw(or in reaper)
The midi is triggering regions i made in reaper which i make into a pgm in mpc software, creating the program is painless and quite satisfying dragging every piece in and it chromatically flys across the pads...
The issue is the midi file import.. The starting note from the midi file imports at like g12 or something? instead of starting at a01 ...
Does anyone know of some secret when you import a midi file into a sequence and can have it start at a01 or the proper note? (i vaguely remeber mpc's midi note numbers being all over the place (pads dont chromatically corrospond to midi notes)
For now i just select the notes to move. but that a little pain in the ass too.(the view doesn't actually lock to the first note in sequence, so i can't see it move to the correct pad)
Anyone find midi file import a little pain in the anus?
